Agmark Gurias

AGMARK GURIAS

NGIP Agmark is the franchise owner of the Agmark Gurias, a semi professional rugby league football club. Once known as the Rabaul Gurias, the team became a franchise in 1999. Pioneering this was John Nightingale, Managing Director of NGIP Agmark Ltd, who is still passionately involved in the running of the team.

The Agmark Gurias represent the East New Britain Province, and are based out of the main town of Kokopo. The Agmark Gurias are locally cheered on as the Pride of East New Britain representing the province in the Country's semi-professional rugby league competition, currently known as the Digicel Cup. The team is currently the only team the comes from the Niugini Islands (NGI) region of Papua New Guinea.
